Day 5: Editable School Absence Note

For our last printable of this series I’ve created a FREE editable school absence note.

This printable is something I have been using for my son since he’s been in school. Friends have asked me to create them one, but I never gotten around to it, until now. As a teacher, I know what is needed on absence notes, but often times as parents, you may forget to include everything. This editable school note solves that problem. Whether your child will be absent, was absent, is getting picked up early or has someone else picking them up, this note covers it.

This editable school note printable is a pdf that is formatted to print two notes on letter size paper. The best part of this design is it is editable! You can type in your child’s information and your contact and print multiple copies at the beginning of the year. As you need you, you can hand-write in the additional information. All you need is Adobe Reader to edit (which is free). Mac users, it will not edit in preview, must open in Adobe.
